He was born on Feb. 1, 1952, in Helena to Walter "Bud" and Doris Sutheimer. He attended schools here and entered the Marine Corps in 1970.

Del married Sheila Smail in 1975, and together they had two children. He Sutheimer worked for the Bureau of Reclamation since 1974 and in recent years was the facility manager at the Palisades Dam in Swan Valley, Idaho. He loved living there where he had many close friends and was an avid fly fisherman and expert woodworker. Del is survived by his wife Sheila, son Cole and daughter Audi, all of Swan Valley, Idaho; parents Bud and Lillian Sutheimer, Doris Sutheimer; and brother, Glen Sutheimer, all of Helena. He is also survived by stepbrother Ron Clark, of Redding, Calif.

Campbell Raymond W. "Ray" Campbell of Townsend died Sunday, Feb. 18, 2001, at Broadwater Health Center. He was born to Edgar and Mabel (Buckingham) Campbell of Duck Creek on May 5, 1921. He attended school at Lower Duck Creek, Townsend and Helena.

He entered military service in 1942 and served in the army in WWII. He worked at Townsend Lumber for a number of years before retiring due to ill health. In 1943, he married Isabell "Izzy" Ruppel and together they had three children. His wife, Isabell and a granddaughter, Ivy Campbell preceded him in death. His three surviving children are Lois (Ed) Regan and Janet (Steve) Kirksey, all of Townsend, and Mike (Raye Jean) Campbell of Montpelier, Idaho; nine grandchildren and two great-grand-362, children also survive him.

In 1989, he married Winifred Adams. Also surviv- Jerry N. Brammer Jerry N. Brammer passed away Monday, Feb. 19, 2001, at home in Townsend.

He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Buffalo, Mo. to George Z. and Florence L. Young Brammer.

The family moved to Green City, Mo. in 1936 where his parents owned and operated the Green City press until 1949. Jerry grew up helping in the family business and learned the printing trade. He graduated from Green City High School in 1948 and married Fleda Albertson in 1951. Five children were born to that union: Jill was born in 1952; they moved to Augusta, and David was born in 1955 and Jim in 1960.

Jerry worked as an electrician in Kansas. The family then moved to Townsend in 1961 where they went into business together with Jerry's parents at the Townsend Star and Jerry was a printer again. Kim was born in 1962 and Bob in 1968. After leaving the Townsend Star, Jerry served four years as Broadwater County Assessor and worked several years as a lumber grader for the timber mill in Townsend, retiring in 1995. A memorial service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Townsend United Methodist Church with Pastor Michael Hart officiating. Private burial of cremains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the United Methodist Church Kitchen Fund, 200 N.
