Commission's agenda is light By EVE BYRON IR Staff Writer Only one public hearing is set for Monday night's Helena City Commission meeting. That hearing covers updates to the city's building codes, which will bring them into compliance with Montana state laws that recently were changed. People wishing to comment on the changes can do so at dur-, ing the 7 p.m. meeting in the commission chambers in the CityCounty Building on Park Avenue. Commissioners also are expected to discuss annexation of some streets that inadvertently weren't encompassed within the city boundaries along with property along the streets, this initially was consid- ered just a "housekeeping" item, but city staffers novy believe some streets are inappropriate for annexation.

The city also will consider fares for the new fixed-route bus service; approving the final $10,000 con- tract for installation of artwork between the Power Block and the Sixth Avenue Parking Ramp (the money comes from the Tax Increment Financing fund); and amending a contract with Morrison Maie le, Inc. for $9,000 more for development of a sewer, water and storm sewer system database (raising the total contract to Henry Begler Mont, to Ross Allen and Beatrice McLeod.
