Monday, April 21 Parenting with Love and Logic parenting classes continue today and are held p.m. on Mondays through May 12 at the Eastgate School Library. Classes include topics on setting limits, sharing control and teaching responsibility. Open to the public, cost simply not equipped to accept anything but cash donations. "We like to focus on cash so the family can take the money and buy what they need," he said, adding that some of the money donated will be used to cover the $900 already doled out by the organization to meet the family's immediate needs such as lodging, food and clothing.

Maria and Alton Talley of Hele- Carmen "Clare" D'Arcy PRESCOTT, Ariz. Carmen "Clare" D'Arcy of Prescott, died April 14, 2003, in Tucson, following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 5, 1922, in Townsend to Frank Clare and Lillie (Kieckbusch) Clare. She graduated from Broadwater County High School, class of 1940.

Gooch Holmquist was born June 12, 1911, in Hague, Emmons, N.D. She was the daughter of Johannas Bur-gad and Aloysia Drei.

She grew up on a farm near Strasburg, N.D. At age 30, she moved to Marylee Rose Norris Marylee Rose (Stipcich) Norris, age 50, died at her home on April 12, 2003. The daughter of Victor J. and Donna A. Stipcich of East Helena, Marylee was born Jan.

1, 1953, at St. Peter's Hospital in Helena and had two brothers and one sister. She graduated from Helena High School in 1971, and was married to Robert E. Norris on July 23, 1971, at her parents' home in East Helena. They were blessed with a son, Joel C.

Norris, of Helena. She worked for the State of Montana Department of Natural Resources and Con Jessie Loretta Lovely Jessie Loretta (Weber) Lovely, age 85, of Helena, passed away April 15, 2003, after a courageous two-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born March 15, 1918, to James and Nellie (Arbuckle) Weber at the family (dryland) ranch on Hamilton Heights, east of Corvallis. Her brother, John Weber of Indio, is now the only surviving sibling among her large family. Jessie lived most of her life in the Bitterroot valley.

She graduated from Corvallis High School where she played on the girls basketball team and sang on the glee club. She was a lifelong member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Corvallis chapter. She and Kuert Lovely were married in 1938 and celebrated their 65th anniversary this past month. Jessie and Kuert ranched on the Sleeping Child, south of Hamilton. They sold the ranch and retired in 1970, then moved to Helena to live near their children, Clean your ter, Angelina Silbernagel of Strasburg; a son, Edward Burgad of Bismark, N.D.; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be Saturday April 19, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1620 E. 6th with visitation Friday from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. at Helena Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to service at the church.

Graveside will follow at Forestvale Cemetery. Helena Funeral Chapel has completed the funeral arrangements. and nephews. A memorial service in celebration of Marylee's life will be held at Retz Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 21, at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at the Montana State Veterans Cemetery, Fort Harrison, Montana.

A gathering will follow at the Elks Lodge 193, 330 Lola in Helena. The family suggests memorials to the Cancer Treatment Center, St. Peter's Hospital, 2475 Broadway, Helena, MT 59601 or to the Maria Dean Center CO of the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation 2475 Broadway Street Helena, MT 59601. numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Kathryn, Scott, Fred, Winifred, Milton, Bill, Leland (Frost), David, Hallie (Hull), Lillian and Joseph. The family wishes to acknowledge the outstanding care provided by staff of the Oncology and Hospice units of St. Peter's Hospital. An Eastern Star graveside service with urn placement will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 21, at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton, officiated by the Leona Chapter O.E.S..

Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. The family requests that any donations be made in Jessie's name to Hospice at St. Peter's Hospital, 2475 East Broadway, Helena, MT 59601. Harrison as a nurse's aide. Several years later she met and married Art Holmquist who was a patient at the fort.

They resided in Coram, where they ran a motel. Art and Vera spent their winters in Mesa, Ariz. Art died Dec. 26, 1967, and then Veronica resided full time in Mesa. Veronica volunteered her time at the Senior Center for 20 years.

Due to a severe illness in September 2002, she came back to Helena to live with her sister-in-law. Surviving her is a daugh Drummond Mule Days, and volunteered many hours the past several years at the Helena Stampede. While employed with State of Montana FWP, she also volunteered with the "Race to the Sky." Marylee was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. (Bob) Norris, on April 2, 2000. She is survived by her parents; son, Joel C.

Norris; brothers John M. (Kaye) Stipcich of Jack-. sonville, and Darrel V. (Cindy) Stipcich; and a sister, Lisa (Rod) Thompson, all of Helena. She is also survived by one grandchild, Miles E.

Norris, and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces her friends, acquaintances and relatives have some item that she made. For sure, all her grandkids and great-grandkids are well outfitted with blankets, afghans and sweaters. Jessie is survived by her husband, Kuert Lovely; her brother, John (Betty) Weber, of Indio; sisters-in-law Bessie Weber of Hermiston, and Alma James of Laurel; her son, Donald Lovely of Helena; her daughter, Patsy (Jim) Tompkins of Helena; and her grandchildren, Cinda Tompkins of Helena, Jaime (Brian) Arnold of Helena, Kathleen (Ed) Field of Helena, Gwen (Brook) George of Billings, Michael (Mona) Lovely of Big Timber, Patrick (Denali) Lovely of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Donelle Lovely of Helena; six great-grandchildren and Helena, where she met and married Lester H. Gooch on April 20, 1941. Soon after their marriage they moved to Ogden, Utah, where they worked in the war plants.

After the war Lester and Vera moved back to Hele Holmquist na, where they resided until her husband's death in 1954. Veronica worked at Fort servation, and the Fish, Wildlife and Parks department of Helena on two occasions. She also worked for the Jefferson County courthouse in Boulder and the Boulder River School. Jessie was an avid gardener who stocked the pantry and freezer to the brim each fall with fruits and vegetables. Lovely Her family and many friends and neighbors also enjoyed the fruits of her labor. Anyone who saw her garden, glorious flowers and roses knew she was truly blessed with a green thumb.

She loved to play cards and games, especially with her grandchildren she was always "lucky." She was tireless and energetic, always busy and spent any spare time knitting hats, gloves, sweaters, blankets and afghans, or doing some sort of handiwork.
